Wisdom Teeth

So today I got my wisdom teeth out. I was actually kind of nervous, mostly just about the IV/anethesia so they gave me laughing gas so I wouldn't care. Laughing gas never works on me, though. But yeah, did the surgery and SOMEHOW walked to the recovery room, a trip which I do not recall. Apparently, when I was still on the gas and not all there, I was doing some form of singing. Then I was speaking in German. And it was actually pretty coherent German from what I hear. Then my mom asked me if I wanted to see my friends today, like Joey for example, and I responded "Ohhh yeaaah I looove Joey he's my besstt frienddd" And I asked repeatedly how I got where I was. And then I spoke to my dad in German on the phone.

So today I've just been chillin. Watched some movies, read. The medicine that was supposed to make me fall asleep did nothing of the sort. I'm so hungry, I could really go for a nice big sandwich.

Oh, but one of my medicines is a narchotic or something. That means it makes you high. I am feeling pretty good...lol.

Hopefully I'll be all better on Saturday for an adventure in Baltimore! I'm supposed to plan fun things to do...I definitly want to see some fishies though.

Yeeahh Elon was fun! Drove down with John and Conor and my mom, got there at like 2:30 and ate. Got a delicious smoothie. Went to a little presentation which made college seem like its going to be nothing but studying. Met up with Zack, ate din din. Went by Farmhouse, it was a typical college dump, but I guess those boys like it. Dropped Conor and John off and me and my mom went to Wal-Mart and there were a lot of rednecks there man I hate the south. Next morning, just a bunch of accepted student stuff. Walked around with my group and saw GORGEOUS freshman dorms...wow...those were nice. Got another smoothie and went by Farmhouse and sat on the porch in the AMAZING almost 70 degree weather and sunshine. Started on our way back. Stopped in Hanover County near Richmond for Ukrops (best grocery store ever) so I called Stephen to be like hey im in your guys' county and then I called Kristie. Ate din din, left, got home at like 9. And thats the Elon story.

Bilal is still mad at me and Sarah.

Im hungry and I cant decide what to go eat.

Traub had his baby!!!!!! not him technically, Carrie did but Traub is a daddy! She was born on March 8 at like 3 am (ahh only 9 hours after I was with them at school!) and her name is Camille McKenna Weintraub! Not the best first name, but I'm sure they had their reasons.

What an interesting few days!! hah, well not really, but I've been amused.

Soooo yesterday? Lets see...first because of SOLs we had extra long Anatomy and we dissected a sheep brain. I was in a group with Holly and Mackenzie, and luckily, Holly wanted to do the cutting and stuff. Then in English we just discussed Ivan some more...excellent book - read it! Then in Stats we watched a video about whatever it is we're learning. Lunch was interesting. First, the-other-Anna's dad came to tell her that a family friend had died in a car accident. Then on the way back from lunch I was walking with Emily and Andrea and we were talking about Mrs. Timperlake's english class, and how it is sometimes boring and that Mrs. T is always surprised when the bell rings...so all of the sudden Emily turns to the side, bright red and is like I need water. Guess who was walking behind us. None other than Mrs. Timperlake. We just stood there trying to remember what we said...hopefully not too bad. German was booorrrring as usual. After school I slept for like 3 hours wtf. Then me and Bilal got into a big fight.

Today. Did nothing in Journalism because the papers didnt come. Notes in Topics and some Chinese calithestics (sp?) that was fun. FOUND OUT THAT THE BACKSTREET BOYS HAVE A CONCERT AT THE END OF MARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and Emily were like OMG WE HAVE TO GO like 13 year olds but it was sold out :( Got away with talking during German, omg. After school, gym and then Starbucks with Laura.

Life = crappy right now

-anything I get excited about gets shot down

-not only do I dislike going to school, as everyone does especially seniors, but my grades are REALLY bad right now...failed a Stats test last week, failed an English thing, didn't turn in a worksheet for Anatomy now I can't find it, probably not doing so hot in German either just because Frau hates me, even though she did like my outline for my project...but I am doing EXCELLENT in Topics. Funny how thats the only interesting class I have with a teacher who isn't a bitch. I just did a really good job on my Topics assignment =)

-Miami costs 30,000 a year, which can work but I know my parents don't want me to go. hooray for having no future.

-proabably wont be going on a road trip with Juanca and Anthony this weekend to Wburg, because Juan cant drive and I know I won't be allowed to.

YAAAAY

So I just got back from hanging out with Juanca! We went to Guitar Center, and I think I picked out my guitar!! I can't decide between the Fender accoustic or the Fender electric though. Help me out? Then we went to Hooters, haha. Kristie called when we were there, and we decided that we're going to visit her on March 4! YAAAAY! So I'm super excited about that road trip, hopefully we'll also hit up Nick West in Chesapeake and the homies in VA Beach too.

Ahh updating finally~!!!

Firstly, I had a fantabulous weekend!!

On Friday, school was real boring then I had work from 3-6. Then I went home for like 2 seconds then back to Starbucks and met up with Laura and Ammar and we went to Blockbuster and got some movies, then went to Juanca's house! Yaaaaay! We watched Shaun of the Dead there it was weird. Then we took a weird way home because Ammar thought it would be better and got home at like 12:30 we're going to have a race later to see whos route to Juans house is faster. I decided that I'm going to play guitar so me and Juanca are going to go to Guitar Center and get me one yaaay.

Saturday I met up with Laura at Starbucks and we went to go pick up Carlin and Kathy and then we went to Jaxx to see Traffic Jam play! They were awesome, and Jaxx is such a cute place! Then me and Ryan went to Starbucks and met up with Laura again and went to Victors. Oh yeah and I bought Cheetah Chomps!! Then we went to Giant where I saw Mr. Payne!! Then we got Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and watched it at Ryans! Got home at like 1:30.

Sunday I had work. And it sucked.

Monday...hmm I dont remember much of Monday. Oh yeah, it was Valentines Day. Or Singles Awareness Day...which is wAy true. It was not too annoying. Took over a shift for Boulter because I'm an AmAzInG friend and then did hw and missed Everwood fe820-5r892rtwjfwf worst day ever.

Tiesday. Bilal and I decided we didnt want to stay after for the Lance for very long so at 4 we just told everyone to leave. Yaaay. I love having power.

Wednesday...BORINGNESS. was tired all day at school then took a nap for three hours after school - ahhh i never do that! did nothing all night :)

Thursday. We had a three hour delay due to parent teacher conferences so school started at 10:30!! Woke up at like 8, went to Bagel Bakery at 9 and convinced Mike I wasn't skipping school lol. Picked up Rachel and Kara and went to Starbucks! Then ate my food during Anatomy while we watched this booooring movie. 20 minutes of Anatomy, English and German with 2 hours of Stats rounded off that 4 hour school day. After school Rachel was like lets go to West Springfield so we did. Ran into lots of people! I called Brendon and he made me give Kristen a ride home. Saw Ryan and Jeff and walked around with them and then we had to go but there was no room. Then I brought them food, including some McDonalds to Jeff which is going to kill him poor baby. Then we played Halo 2 at Ryans on Xbox live! Xbox live is my new best friend, you can talk to random people from all over (like Alabama haha) Then Ryan forced me to go to the WSHS V. Hayfield bball at Lake Braddock with him and Brendon and Brittany and other people. UGHHH!!! hehe im kidding, I had a lot of fun! WS lost, of course :)

HEY RYAN HOPE YOU'RE HAVING FUN IN 1ST PERIOD!! haha by the time you read this, I'll be in journalism, we should talk through comments like losers

Today was interesting.

School was boring. Stats was kinda good though. Emily is out sick with appendicitis, and Mallory is as usual gone so I had no one to talk to while we were having the lesson so I like took really good notes and then when we did practice problems I got them all right. Got in trouble for talking (surprise, surprise) in German so I got seperated from Joey Boulter and Kimmie. After school Sarah and I were like hey lets go to West Springfield and Lake Braddock and check out their journalism rooms. We had fun at WS, ran into a few people and found the newspaper room really fast. Mrs. Nelson the journalism teacher was really nice! She talked to us for awhile, and tried to help us out with our problem. Lake Braddock was interesting. First of all, they're under renovation so everything is like totally messed up. They have this big area that they divided up into temporary classrooms and the library. The whole place was reaaaaally confusing and like no one knew where the journalism room was. Their school is sooooo ugly too!! Finally some girls on the basketball team helped us, and we finally got to the room and it was locked so no one was there. So then we had to find our way out. Then we got really confused driving out of the parking lot and I don't think we did it right. Yeah LB was a bust. Then we went to Caribou Coffee and our Oreo Snowdrifts were really bad.

Work was a bit annoying tonight. Kept getting bugged about the same thing. I felt bad, submitting in the days I couldn't work due to college visits but hey I need to do this. Heres what I'm thinking...

Yay so I slept last night...it was refreshing. Today was such a waste of a day. Watched the series premier of Summerland/read TeenVogue/played football in journalism....watched a movie in Topics about the, what else, Cold War and how it ended...went to the Lance room during TA and did nothing...awesome unplanned fire drill...passed notes in German. After school me, Rachel and Hilary drove to the Baskin Robbins in ghetto S-field then decided we wanted to go to the other one in Huntsman more so we drove there. Took like 20 minutes no joke to decide what we wanted, the guy working there must have thought we were SO weird...went to Doodlehopper, talked to Kristy...went home. I don't think Mrs. Timperlake is collecting our Farewell to Arms notes tomorrow in class, so I didn't do them. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to read half the book and do notes by Friday sooo maybe I won't go to school if it looks like its going to be too hard. I never thought I could care so little about my homework...but honestly with the time I spend thinking/reading/talking about college, more specifically Miami, there are just so many more better things to concern myself with. I really would like to care, but I don't see the point. Besides, I hate that class. Actually I hate all my classes except Topics and Journalism. =D

I'm going to update this more I swear.

What HAS been going on? A whole lot of nothing! I'm bored. I just finished my hw, I had so much and it took me forever. Grrrrr. I haven't slept since 10am on Sunday morning! I went to bed last night at like 12:30...couldn't sleep...read magazines/wrote...got online at like 3 went to BestBuy.com found some stuff I want...back to bed at like 4 and literally just lay there for almost 2 hours until FINALLY my alarm went off. Too many thoughts racing in my head. So yeah its been like 38 hours of no sleep. Nothing I didn't pull off in Pennslyvania :D I'm not even tired!

School has been really painful. Its been hard to get myself to go, hard to pay attention in class, hard to do my hw/study. Gosh! I've been lucky though, I didn't feel like studying for my last Topics test so I just didn't and I got an A! :D

Supposed to be going college visiting but I have NO idea when!! It all depends on like weather and stuff. Took off a lot of time off work just in case.

Works been fine I guess...nothing new.

Wow its been awhile!

Not a lot been going on. Um lets see...

Been slacking off a bit in this department. I have a C in Stats (not due to laziness, just sheer stupidity) But everything else has been alright. School is so boring!

THE LANCE
Funny, I haven't written a thing about it in forever. Right now, though, the administration wants to put all the newspaper computers in the yearbook room and have us all share. As much as I love the yearbook kids....well just Zack, Rachel, Katie, Elisabeth and Robert...sharing the room would NOT be a good idea. Soooo we're trying to fight the administration (again) on this one.

WORK
Been good.

Man, this weekend sucked. Today sucked. Me and Laura went to Target to buy the OC on DVD and then we were going to go to Starbucks. But theeeen I got a call from Robert and he was like "hey why aren't you at work" and the number wasn't the Bagel Baskery it was his cell so I was like "because I'm not working today stop joking around" and he was like "no I'm serious, you were supposed to be here 45 minutes ago" and then Andrea came on and talked and i was like SHIT. Sooo I was really mad. Luckily, Andrea left like 10 minutes after I got there so it was just me and Robert, so that was pretty fun. And now, I'm NOT doing hw. I really don't have any. Nathan and I decided that since Bilal and his partner still need to present their (30 minute) presentation tomorrow in English class, its safe to say that we won't have time to present ours (class is only 40 minutes tomorrow) So we're taking sorta a risk by not preparing for our presentation tomorrow buuut we decided thats its an adventure lol.

Yay for a 2 hour delay tomorrow. This week is going to be alright.

Last night was really awesome! =)

Today, woke up to a dissapointing small amount of snow, and no delay :( But I did get into Elon yay.

Classes were okay. Laura was out sick so I had to present our project ALONE and it was sucky. I didn't do ANY of my German hw. And I'm not studying for our test. Take that, Frau C. =D

Tomorrow. Lance holiday party. Waking up early and going to the Bagel Bakery at 6:15. Yay! History: IA due. Stats test after school. Work from 6-closing. Wednesday. Macbeth paper due.

Ahhh. Home on a Saturday night and its just what I want to be doing. This past week was CRAZY, even yesterday was busy. Today was really busy. Tomorrow is going to be really busy. Next week is going to be really busy. This, right now, is nice.

But yeah, today Laura B came over and we worked on our English project. We finished recording/memorizing lines for our first part, it took awhile though! Then I went to work at 2 and it was pretty fun. Now I'm here. Tomorrow Laura's coming over again so we can finish our second part, then I've got a Stats test to study for and a Macbeth paper to revise. Then theres the Bagel Bakery holiday party at 6...should be pretty fun. Next week looks...fun. Monday our projects are due and then I have the Stats test. Tuesday our history IAs are due and Wednesday our Macbeth papers are due.

Wow, I'm working A LOT over winter break. I hope its just not too much.

Kinda skipping a lot of the Lance and working a lot (I'm working tonight too) but whatev!

Frau C is back in Deutsch Klasse. The atmosphere is totally different, we all miss Frau F.

School was good today. I took too much cold medicine, so I was so mellow all day but could still pay attention, it was great. My mommy brought me and Emily Quizno's for lunch...yum! =) Then after school I went to Chipotle with Rachel and Katie and then to Penn Camera. Now I'm here.

I know if I go to bed, I'll just lie there for hours, so why not post another entry?

I feel really stupid about my negative posts. I feel bad too, because so many other people have a lot worse stuff going on, and here I am complaining about what (appears to be) nothing. My last post, I had just had a fight with my mom. Actually, she was just yelling at me while I sat there. Basically for some stupid reasons. Things got worked out though. But yeah, I'm not going to be writing anymore negative posts, because they're really dumb.

Macbeth paper is going good. Except this paper is not being sent to IB...so I don't understand why we're doing it. But its kinda interesting. We have a Macbeth project too, again, not for IB. I went over to Laura's house tonight to work on it, and I think we've gotten a good start. We're going to act out some scenes and film it to show Macbeth's development as a character. It should be really good...once we memorize our lines.

Ummmm what else. Frau Crittendon returns tomorrow. Oh joy. I might as well not be in the same class as Boulter, Joey, Andrea, John and Kimmie anymore because the second she sees us sitting together, we're going to get seperated. Wow, German class is going to awful from now on. It might as well be French class, because we sure aint learning any German! Gooten tag. Ik hissuh Anna. Ik gespoken German abur then Frau C ist komen zoorook. Heh, luckily its flu season. Maybe her kid will get sick.

Last night was sooo much fun! It was Laura Becker's 18th birthday, so she had a bunch of people over for hanging out, then cosmic bowling. First we just hung around and watched Sandlot, eating and playing air hockey. Cosmic bowling was really fun also. What a great group of kids - me, Bilal, Zebbib, Andrea, Kelsey, Elias, Jordan, Becca, Adeel, Joey, Amber, Johnny, Julie, Rob and Laurel.

Today...well I thought I had work but apparently, I don't. Soooo. I don't know what to do with myself. Macbeth perhaps?

Work tomorrow from 3-6! Yay! Then Macbeth paper (because I know I'm not going to do it today!) and studying for an Anatomy test. The next 8 days of school are going to be killer - IAs due in Topics, English project due, Macbeth paper due, Stats test, Anatomy test, the Lance coming out....AHH!

Only 8 more months until college. I can do it. I can't help but think about how much better everything is going to be then.

Only 1 more day until school. I'm so happy at school. And at work. How did I make it through the summer?

I got a good start on my Macbeth paper today! I'm actually looking forward to writing it, I picked a great topic. =)

Sigh. I feel so horrible right now.
